What a gutter clean includes

Single and two-storey gutters are cleaned from ladders or the roof with the right fall protection. Higher gutters and box gutters on tall strata and commercial buildings are reached by our IRATA rope access technicians, working from certified roof anchor points. The same visit can include roof maintenance, bird proofing or window cleaning.

Gutter cleaning questions
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Most Sydney buildings need gutters cleared at least once a year, and twice a year where trees overhang the roof. Buildings next to large gums or figs, and box gutters on flat commercial roofs, usually need it more often.
Do you clean gutters on multi-storey buildings?
Yes. Higher gutters and box gutters are reached by rope access, which avoids scaffolding on most buildings.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. Leaves and sludge are bagged and removed from site.
Will you tell us if something is damaged?
Yes. You get before and after photos and a note of anything that needs attention, such as rust, sagging sections, failed joints or blocked outlets. Repairs can be quoted separately.
Who is responsible for gutters in a strata building?
Gutters and downpipes are usually common property maintained by the owners corporation. Check your strata plan and by-laws, as some buildings differ.
